Original British WWII RAF Type C Leather Flying Helmet with Mk VIII Goggles and Oxygen Mask U.S. Ammo the 44th's commanderOnly One Set Available: A wonderful brown leather chamois lined flying helmet with elastic snap chinstrap. In 1944 the internally wired C type flying helmets were issued. These came with wiring loom and earphones already factory installed. This fine example comes without front goggle straps and features an elastic chinstrap and a built in clip on the right side to accommodate the oxygen mask attachment hook. Helmet is approximate size 58cm (US 7 1 4).
